Anna Khunová seems to be the go-to artist for floral stamps in the Czech Republic. We can see why! Tomas Nemecek kindly posted a Christmas card to us from Prague with a reindeer stamp and this beauty, a 2006 issue, by Khunová. It shows an ibisek bloom (hibiscus), or as it’s translated on the Czech Republic’s postal site “marshmallow.”
Working with engraver Bohumil Šneider, Khunová produced several more floral stamps in 2007, including lichorerisnice (nasturtium) and an especially fine bramborik (cyclamen or ”sow bread”). You can see a bit more of Khunová work here.
